Merry Christmas and Final Thoughts for 2016

As 2016 winds down, I’d like to take a moment to thank all my clients that I’ve worked with this year. This year has been one of the busiest years of my career and, greatly appreciate working with all of you.

I’ve  also continued to expand our client base with new clients (both private and lenders). I thank all of you for any referrals and choosing to work with Advantage Appraisals when given the choice.

One of the biggest surprises was the downward trend in interest rates. Almost a year ago the fed raised the federal funds rates for the first time in years and all forecasted that mortgage rates would do the same. While I never believed they would rise significantly, I didn’t see the downward trend back to the 3’s. As a result, this was indeed the gasoline for the housing market for 2016. If I’ve learned anything is that predictions are just that – predictions. Trends and shifts in the market can come at anytime. Time will tell what 2017 brings.

Heading into 2017, I  will continue to network with all of you and hope to be a solid reliable appraisal resource.  I’ve enjoyed my conversations with many of you regarding the real estate market, economy, appraisal topics, etc. Don’t hesitate to call, text, or email anytime. I hope to complete more private appraisals in 2017!

I look forward to spending time with my family and re-energizing myself for 2017. I wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday, and Happy New Year! See you in 2017!
