New UAD 3.6 Forms have Arrived!

On 11/2/2026, the new UAD 3.6 GSE appraisal forms were officially implemented. I’ve read various comments regarding the forms, opinions on software, best methods to implement, and there are varying opinions. The reality is these forms are here to stay, and adoption is necessary.

Thankfully, this will not impact the forms I use for my private work, and as of now, the VA is not requiring the new forms. So I’m relieved that I can slowly implement the new forms and develop a process that works best for my workflow.

There will be new information required with these forms, which may result in reaching out to owners and agents for more specific information about a property compared to the prior forms.

For properties going into escrow, a longer escrow time or contingency period may be something to consider, as there could be potential appraisal and underwriting delays.

Any questions, feel free to reach out!
